MISSION AND CONTEXT

Our non-governmental organization has been working in the sociological research market for many years.

The processes that are constantly taking place in Ukrainian society create an urgent need for an unbiased and well-founded analysis.

Both at the beginning of own path and today, especially today, our non-governmental organization works to turn its skills into a contribution to the common struggle for democratic values and protection of civil rights and freedoms.

Our Institute researches many issues of Ukrainian society: education, health, family, children and adolescents, youth, migration, safety and security. Our interests are focused on democratization, transition and integration into the European Union.

We are convinced that an objective study of the realities of Ukrainian modernity is essential to outline promising ways to improve civil society in all its dimensions; to promote public awareness and strengthen professional capacity to bring about change by making the right decisions.

To do this, we have a history and experience, a professional team, our own resources, including informational, and a great desire to help create changes for the better.

    EXPERIENCE

    NGO «UISR after O. Yaremenko» has many years of experience in conducting quantitative and qualitative research in the field of family, children, adolescents and young people, public services, education, health, human rights, civil society, democratization, transition studies, European integration.

    A LARGE NUMBER OF IMPLEMENTED PROJECTS

    Over the years of professional activity, we have participated in many large-scale and important projects. Over the past 10 years, the team of the Institute has conducted more than 100 studies.

    Our portfolio consists of many projects that were implemented in cooperation with and at the request of UNICEF, UNPD, Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, WHO, Worldbank, University of Manitoba (Canada), HIV Reform in Action – USAID Project Deloitte Consulting LLP and other companies and organizations.

    Over the years, we have built a wide and powerful network of professional and experienced coordinators and interviewers in the researched regions. This ensures the quality of the field phase of the research.

    OUR INFORMATION RESOURCES

    Our organization is the founder and co-publisher of the scientific journal «Ukrainian Society». 

    We are also co-founders of the information resource for specialists, parents and adolescents – the Knowledge Center.
